Welcome back! Is it us, or does summer go by faster and faster each year? We hope everyone has been enjoying the beautiful New York and Connecticut weather and taking advantage of all of the great things happening in our area.  If you have been a part of the Greenwich Young Professionals Group (YPG) you know we are no stranger to Sign of The Whale in Stamford (SOTW). SOTW has always been a fantastic networking space. Located in the beautiful Harbor Point section of Stamford, this restaurant/venue has an amazing rooftop deck and industrial vibe inside that everyone loves.  We hosted our August networking event at SOTW and collaborated with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society(LLS). LLS’ mission is to “cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is at the forefront of

How’s your summer going friends?! It’s been such an incredible summer thus far and we hope this gorgeous weather stays for a while. Summer in New England is the best and truly a magical place to be.  To kickoff July, Greenwich Young Professionals (YPG) collaborated with The Women’s Entrepreneurs’ Social (WES) and HAYVN. For those of you who might be wondering what these two groups/businesses are, let us give you a quick snapshot. WES is “a group for women entrepreneurs or professionals looking to network and make new friends. The goals of their events are to socialize and mingle with other women entrepreneurs; have a great time and make business connections as well.” HAYVN is located at 320 Boston Post Road in Darien and is a co-working space dedicated to women. The space has plenty of rooms that fit the needs for

Summertime in New England and Connecticut. What could be better?! We hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather and soaking in the sun. Get out there and enjoy those outdoor activities! There is no better time as well to network. We at Greenwich Young Professionals (YPG) want to keep everyone up to date on what we are doing each month. June’s event was another successful evening of networking and mingling. We love seeing new members join to help build up these strong networking connections. Chris and his awesome team at Flinders Lane Kitchen & Bar, in Stamford, hosted June’s event. The restaurant provided our members with Happy Hour drink specials and sponsored the food for the evening. From the atmosphere, to the drinks, to the food and of course the networking, it made for a great summer evening.  So where would you like

Welcome back friends! How are we only 9 days away from Summer? Is it us or does Summer creep up and then go by so fast?! Greenwich Young Professionals has a lot of great stuff going on these next few months, so stay tuned. If you haven’t been able to join us, we encourage you to check out the previous month’s blog posts and explore the rest of the website. Our May event was Co-Hosted with The Greenwich Rotary and held at OsteoStrong located at 126 E Putnam Avenue in Greenwich. OsteoStrong “is a unique place where you can go to improve your overall health by focusing on the one thing we all have in common: a skeletal system.” We highly recommend you check out this location right in our own backyard and get to know the team at OsteoStrong

Spring has arrived in Fairfield County! You know the saying, “April showers, bring May flowers.” Luckily, our April networking event was spared the rain and we ended up with a beautiful, warm spring night.  Our April event was held at the recently new Colony Grill location in Port Chester, New York. It has been open for nearly a year, but if you haven’t stepped into this new location yet, you need to soon! As most of us are familiar with Colony Grill from their Fairfield and Westchester County locations, the “Hot-Oil” Pizza is a true can’t miss. Oh, and they now deliver! It was a great evening of networking with lots of new faces. There were over 40+ attendees across 25+ industries. In addition we were able to raise over $500 for Swim Across America - Fairfield County.  Nancy Carr, who is the

How fitting was it that the day before the Spring Equinox we held our March event at Equinox of Greenwich. What a great way to kick off the new season! Equinox of Greenwich is located off of 16 Old Track Road in Greenwich. If you haven’t been to this beautiful fitness location, I highly recommend you stop by! “This sanctuary was once an industrial space - until it was transformed into a vibrant Greenwich fitness oasis.” And it truly is an oasis! Toni, Kori and Brandon, among other staff at the club, were delightful and super accommodating. Greenwich YPG and Equinox co-hosted the event to thank all of our members, as well as bringing people together for a networking reception. The evening had amazing food and appetizers from Food Design and wine from one of our favorite community partners Val’s Putnam Wines

And just like that, we are deep into the New Year! We hope everyone has enjoyed these winter months and are looking forward to the upcoming Spring. We recently held our second event of the year in Stamford, at Fiesta on Main.  The night was filled with delicious drinks, exceptional food and great people. There were many, many new faces in attendance, which led to great networking opportunities. Victor from Fiesta on Main, as well the rest of the staff were extremely accommodating and provided us with both a great venue and platter of Peruvian foods. As one of YPG’s goals for the New Year, the organization is working to continue giving back to our communities. In February, we helped fulfill this mission. We had the great pleasure of teaming up with the New Covenant House and asked our members to bring non-perishable
