Supporting Swim Across America at Saltaire Oyster Bar Greenwich YPG andIcon International joined forces to support Swim Across America at Saltaire oyster bar in Port Chester. Swim Across America is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment by hosting charity swims. Networking Mixer at Equinox Greenwich Our latest networking event was a night filled with great conversations, a beautiful venue, delicious food, and drinks. If you have not been to the Equinox in Greenwich, it is a must see! Toni and her team are extraordinary. We can’t thank Equinox enough for their hospitality, and truly thank The Granola Bar for their delicious food and for Vals Putnam Wines for the drinks provided. A night filled with networking, open mic, pizza, and drinks. There was certainly something for everyone. We had some fascinating speakers, from state of the art drone development, to financial advising tips the event was an amazing forum for people to share their passion and/or career. Thanks to the community support of Serendipity shared work space, Fairfield Pizza, and Vals Putnam Wines there was ample sustenance to keep the networking night alive. We asked fellow YPG member Prem Itharat, about the event- “Tuesday’s YPG open mic event was fantastic.  It was great to open the floor to members and allow them to share what they are passionate about while leaving ample time for one on one networking. 

YPG Board Member Tanya Popolizio; Junior League of Greenwich Delivers Baby Bundles for New Mothers The Junior League of Greenwich supported 41 new mothers through its annual Baby Bundles Project, in partnership with Neighbor to Neighbor. Neighbor to Neighbor is a Greenwich based non-profit food and clothing resource for residents, and has been a vital member of the Greenwich community for over 40 years. The Junior League’s goal every year is to supply new mothers with a baby bundle, which is a starter set of supplies to assist them in welcoming a new baby home. The Baby Bundles help provide new mothers with supplies not available to them at the food and clothing pantry. Throughout the month of March and April, the Junior League was able to collect many donations of unopened diaper packages, onesies, blankets, clothes, new pacifiers, new bottles, burp clothes,

  Board Member Tanya Popolizio leads Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man and Woman of the Year Gala On June 17, 2017 at the Man & Woman of the Year Grand Finale Gala held at The Hilton in Stamford, CT, 9 candidates and their team members were honored for raising more than $640,000 to invest in research to fight blood cancer for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). YPG President Ken Jacobi honored at Fairfield County’s 40 Under Forty ceremony Fairfield County’s young professionals shine in the 13th annual 40 Under Forty ceremony The atrium of Stamford’s Silicon Harbor commercial development hosted a wealth of youthful talent from the corporate, nonprofit and governmental worlds on June 20 for the 13th annual 40 Under Forty awards celebration of Fairfield County’s brightest young professionals. Fox 61 meteorologist Matt Scott returned for the second consecutive year as emcee, humorously complaining about being disqualified for consideration despite being 52 years old. “I told them my IQ was under 40,” he said. The event’s keynote speaker was one of last year’s honorees: Daniel Trust, founder and CEO of the Bridgeport-based Daniel Trust Foundation, a nonprofit that provides financial assistance to low-income students seeking to further their education.
