A night filled with networking, open mic, pizza, and drinks. There was certainly something for everyone. We had some fascinating speakers, from state of the art drone development, to financial advising tips the event was an amazing forum for people to share their passion and/or career.
Thanks to the community support of Serendipity shared work space, Fairfield Pizza, and Vals Putnam Wines there was ample sustenance to keep the networking night alive. If you want to get more involved with the community and meet fantastic people I encourage you to email email@example.com to get more information on the group.
We asked fellow YPG member Prem Itharat, about the event- “Tuesday’s YPG open mic event was fantastic. It was great to open the floor to members and allow them to share what they are passionate about while leaving ample time for one on one networking. I truly enjoy the variety of events that YPG offers – from your typical happy hour to seeing a concert at Stamford Palace Theater to community service events. Keeping both the events and members fresh is important. It’s refreshing to see attendees that are from a diverse professional and personal background. I like the fact that I can come to an event and see some familiar faces, but there are always a lot of new faces to welcome and engage with – and everyone is friendly and wants to get to know each other.“
