He is also author of “Going with the Pitch: Adjusting to Baseball, School and Life as a Division I College Athlete” (Second Edition). Ken is also a graduate of NYU Stern’s MBA program and has completed 8 marathons.

Andrew Roe Global Technology Track

Andrew Roe is a proven energy/power technology marketing and business development professional with extensive experience in the electric power industry for a technical consulting group specializing in large capital project development support.
Recently co-founded a “green tech” startup that won the Columbia Venture Challenge – Global Technology Track (#StartupColumbia) in 2016. As co-founder I am the lead for business and sustainability strategy. Additionally, I have experience in the venture capital industry with an emphasis on clean technology including energy, water and related sustainable industries.

Skilled in both technology and economics aspects of the power generation and related industries, with my professional career covering 10+ years at Burns and Roe, an engineering design firm in the metro NYC area. Recently completed a Masters of Science degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University where I focused on energy and water.

Passionate about green project development and the role sustainability strategy will play in future business decision making. As an experienced professional I can drive value-added green strategy development across multiple industry sectors focusing on the intersection of economic viability and sustainable returns.

Tanya Popolizio Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; Senior Campaign Manager

Tanya Popolizio grew up in Milford, CT and now resides in East Norwalk. She has her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology and just recently graduated with her MBA, with a concentration in Marketing from Sacred Heart University.

Tanya has more than 8 years of management experience and works at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as a Senior Campaign Manager.  She oversees the Special Events department, and specifically works on their Man & Woman of the Year campaign. She enjoys giving back to the community and tries to volunteer her time whenever possible.

Tanya enjoys meeting new people and building relationships, and strives to hit goals. She enjoys watching sports, running, and bikram yoga. She has completed a total of three half marathons and completed the NYC Marathon last November. She was also recognized this summer as one of the winners for Fairfield County’s 40 Under 40.

He got his MPA from Pace University and proceeded to work for a prestigious For-Purpose Organization, United Way, where he got to work with top executives from Fortune 500 companies and local business/community leaders. Passionate about learning, innovation and creating values, Bo’s been involved in a wide range of businesses. He also sits on the boards of three young professional groups and started a mastermind discussion group which will soon become TEDx of Stamford.
