Swim Across America, Inc. (SAA) is dedicated to raising money and awareness for life saving cancer research and clinical trials by uniting the swimming community.  With the help of hundreds of volunteers nationwide and past and current Olympians, Swim Across America is helping find a cure for cancer through athleticism, community outreach and direct service.  Established in 2007, the SAA – Greenwich-Stamford swim has donated $3.4 million over 11 years to Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy. 100% of funds contributed by Swim Across America to ACGT go directly to research.

Prem Itharat

Prem lives in Scarsdale but has many ties to Greenwich and the Fairfield Community.  All three of his children were born at Greenwich Hospital and he has spent much of his career working at financial services firms and hedge funds in Greenwich and Manhattan.  Prem started Pi Capital Management about three years ago, a focused investment advisory firm that helps individuals and families in the community with portfolio management, financial advisory, and financial planning.  He believes anyone, irrespective of where they stand on the wealth spectrum, can achieve financial independence with the right mindset and investment allocations.  Prem is also a Partner at Apex HealthSync, a medical staffing firm that mainly focuses on physician placement, and, Pi Ventures, which invests in startups.  Prem graduated from NYU’s Stern School of Business and holds an MBA with concentrations in Finance, Quantitative Finance, and Strategy.
